The fundus of two healthy eye is imaged with commercialized ophthalmic instruments which are the gold standards for choroidal imaging: indocyanine-green angiography (Spectralis, Heidelberg, left) and swept-source OCT (Plex Elite 9000, Zeiss, center). The image of the same eyes with LDH (right) reveals the choroidal vasculature much more efficiently, and the functional blood flow contrast allows to differentiate arteries and veins.
